About The Role
We’re excited to be recruiting for Drivers Mates to join our Bristol Depot.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of an award-winning Transport team, who have won numerous awards for Operational, Business and H&S excellence over the last 2 years.
We are currently looking for Drivers Mates for our Bristol depot, you will work Monday to Friday inclusive. The hourly rate will be £12.50 an hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to £375. On top of this, you will be guaranteed a minimum of 48 hours a week. You’ll also receive 25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays. After a rewarding and productive 12 weeks, you'll have the opportunity to join our LGV Driver Apprenticeship program.

- To work as part of a two‑person delivery team to ensure all deliveries are of high standard
- To ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to
- Constantly communicate with the transport office regarding daily activities
- Adhere to procedures regarding the proper use and care of equipment and materials associated with the role
- Always offer a pleasant and concise delivery experience at each delivery visit
- Proactively make customer phone calls with ETA’s & keep records of deliveries made
- Take extra care with products to ensure goods are delivered damage free

Each case will be assessed individually, taking into account the nature of the offence and its relevance to the role applied for.
In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.
