About The Role

We’re excited to be recruiting for Drivers Mates to join our Bristol Depot.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of an award-winning Transport team, who have won numerous awards for Operational, Business and H&S excellence over the last 2 years.

We are currently looking for Drivers Mates for our Bristol depot, you will work Monday to Friday inclusive. The hourly rate will be £12.50 an hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to £375. On top of this, you will be guaranteed a minimum of 48 hours a week. You’ll also receive 25 days holiday a year plus bank holidays. After a rewarding and productive 12 weeks, you'll have the opportunity to join our LGV Driver Apprenticeship program.

• To work as part of a two‑person delivery team to ensure all deliveries are of high standard
• To ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to
• Constantly communicate with the transport office regarding daily activities
• Adhere to procedures regarding the proper use and care of equipment and materials associated with the role
• Always offer a pleasant and concise delivery experience at each delivery visit
• Proactively make customer phone calls with ETA’s & keep records of deliveries made
• Take extra care with products to ensure goods are delivered damage free

• Must have a clean, full UK Category B driving license

• Maths and English GCSE C grade or above or equivalent (Functional skills level
  2)
