Store Delivery Driver – B&Q Hartcliffe

Full-time, Permanent Contract – 36.75 hours per week | Shifts Monday – Sunday, 6:45am – 5:15pm and 9:45am – 8:15pm | Hourly rate £13.46 (includes £0.54 location allowance)

About the role

You’ll be part of delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring customers receive their deliveries in excellent condition and on time – every time. When you’re not delivering multi‑drop orders to customers’ homes, you will be based on our shopfloor where you will use new technology to fulfil customer orders and support your colleagues where needed.

What we need from you

• Manual UK driving licence (Category B/B1) held for at least one year with no more than 6 points.
• Previous experience as a multi‑drop delivery driver is useful, but not essential.
• Flexible availability to work a rota that includes weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Excellent communication skills, clear thinking and the ability to make sound plans in a busy environment.
• Willingness to carry heavy loads – the van is 3.5 t.
• Positive attitude toward B&Q brand and customer‑first approach.

Safety & checks

All successful candidates will undergo Experian and DVLA checks to verify driving details, and a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
