We have a fantastic opportunity available for a Transport First Line Manager to join our Costa Coffee site in Avonmouth on the night shift. As Transport First Line Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our driving team delivers a first‑class professional delivery service. You will manage the driving team through an industry‑leading telematics system and a culture of continuous improvement.
This role is offered on a permanent, full‑time basis. Successful candidates will work on an any‑4‑from‑8 shift pattern with hours of 17:30/18:00 – 05:30/06:00, with a requirement for flexibility at the start and end of shift for handovers.

Whatyou’ll do on a typical day
- Ensure the fleet complies with legislation and is maintained to be road‑worthy.
- Coach drivers, alongside the driver trainer, to remain compliant with the WTD and transport legislation, thereby retaining the Operator’s Licence and ensuring regulations are adhered to.
- Maintain Food Safety and BRC standards, as our site is regulated by these bodies.
- Apply HACCP food safety guidelines and ensure all relevant compliances are met.
- Ensure all health & safety obligations are met to provide a legal and safe working environment.
- Previous experience in a transport environment with some experience of WMS systems.
- Knowledge and experience with transport compliance is desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- An ability to grow alongside and develop within a small but dynamic team.
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations.
