About the Role:

You’ll work alongside software teams on major programmes, helping ensure high-quality systems for UK and international partners, while gaining hands-on experience in QA processes, software assurance, and project quality assessments.

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:

* Support software teams to maintain and improve system quality

* Follow QA procedures, guidelines, and standards

* Lead Project Quality Assessments, identify risks, and provide recommendations

* Collaborate with colleagues across programmes and the wider QA community

* Assist with auditing, configuration, documentation, and requirements management activities

* Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will bring:

* Experience in software development, Quality Assurance, or full software lifecycle processes

* Knowledge of national/international software standards and assurance requirements

* Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills

* Ability to work independently and manage priorities under pressure

* Experience with configuration, documentation, or requirements management systems is advantageous

* Engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred
