The Housing Solutions Service offers a comprehensive housing options service to people in housing need. We focus on working with individuals to develop plans that help them retain or find alternative, good-quality, affordable homes to prevent or relieve homelessness.
Role OverviewAs a Housing Solutions Officer, you will be responsible for liaising directly with customers and working in partnership to provide creative and innovative solutions to help resolve their housing needs and challenges.
Teams- The Advice and Assessment (A&A) Team works with individuals aged 25+ and families.
- The Young People & Support (YP&S) Team is a dedicated team that provides a bespoke service to young people.
Both teams are made up of experienced and dedicated officers who support people to access and maintain housing. They also ensure that other support needs are met, including those related to health, education, employment, and learning.
The teams work closely with other housing colleagues and a range of internal and external partners.
We are looking for highly motivated, self-sufficient, and organised Housing Solutions Officers. This is a challenging yet highly rewarding role, playing an instrumental part in developing partnerships and delivering excellent services to meet the housing needs of vulnerable people with complex needs.
