We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full time hours per week for our client’s team based in Bristol, South West England. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.
What will your responsibilities be?
As the successful candidate, your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments, evaluating adults to understand their mental health challenges, considering personal history and symptoms. Based on these assessments you will formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs and goals.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with various healthcare professionals to deliver high‑quality, person‑centred care. Your role will also involve overseeing therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions, monitoring and evaluating progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and contributing to risk assessments and management strategies to ensure safety.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- You must have a full GMC license to practice.
- Section 12 & AC approval.
- Proven experience in relevant field.
