Council |Hybrid | Adult Community Team| Social Worker

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join Bristol City Council on a locum basis, offering £32 - £35 per hour.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward‑thinking local authority, with a structured hybrid working model and clear expectations around office presence and team collaboration.

• Working Arrangement Hybrid working available
• Office attendance required during the first few weeks for induction and team integration
• Expected to attend the office at least twice per week
• Office attendance required on duty days (rota basis)
• Monthly in‑person practice meetings
• Free on‑site parking available
• Key Responsibilities Undertaking Care Act Assessments
• Completing statutory Reviews
• Managing and completing Section 42 Enquiries
• Conducting Mental Capacity Assessments
• Completing Best Interest Decisions
• Participation in the team duty rota
• Court of Protection work where applicable

• Have substantial post‑qualified experience within Adult Social Care
• Are confident managing a complex caseload independently
• Can hit the ground running with minimal supervision
• Have experience using LAS (Liquid logic Adults System) (desirable)
