About The Role

Are you passionate about supporting others to rebuild their lives? We’re looking for a dedicated Support Worker
to join our team in Bristol, working with families and adult males who have experienced homelessness. This is a low-support service, focused on helping individuals maintain their tenancies and live independently.

• Provide housing-related support tailored to individual needs, promoting independence and tenancy sustainment.
• Build trusting, respectful relationships with customers and partner agencies.
• Support customers to access training, employment, and community opportunities.
• Carry out risk assessments and develop personal support plans.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service targets.

This role is being offered on a full time basis working 37 hours per week. This is a field based role, dependent on business need.

To be successful in your application for the role of Support Worker - Supported Housing
, you will have the essential skills and experience for a level 1 role (please see candidate information pack) and the following role specific skills and experience:

• Experience supporting vulnerable adults, ideally in housing or homelessness services.
• Understands the challenges faced by people transitioning from homelessness.
• Can work flexibly, including occasional out-of-hours support.
• Is confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Holds safeguarding knowledge and ideally an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field.

Please note:

This role is not eligible for a CoS. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the role without requiring a CoS.
