About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Field Service Automatic Door Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Bristol, covering the wider South West region. This role involves the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of automatic door systems, with occasional work on industrial doors.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a stable role with competitive pay, regular overtime opportunities, and a fully equipped company van.

Key Responsibilities

Service, maintain, and repair automatic door systems

Fault finding and diagnostics on automatic door equipment

Installation and commissioning of new automatic door systems

Carry out occasional work on industrial doors and related systems

Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards

Provide excellent customer service while working on client sites

Requirements

Experience working with automatic door systems (essential)

Some experience with industrial doors would be advantageous

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

Full UK driving licence

Ability to work independently in a field-based role

Good communication and customer service skills
