This is a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Technician to join a well known company in Bristol. You will get the opportunity to work on a variety of equipment for a company that is extremely well established and does incredibly important work. This will suit someone who has some experience and is happy with working at heights and would like to develop their career with a prestigious firm.

• Complete planned, corrective, and reactive maintenance work on Bulk Handling Systems and Crane equipment.
• Liaise with operations to prioritise rectify unserviceable machinery using fault finding diagnostics.
• Ensure completion of documentation including daily logs and maintenance work orders.
• Carry out duties with due care and attention, adhering to the company’s Health and Safety Policy and HSE regulations.
• Uphold the highest standards and practices in mechanical work.

• NVQ level 3 in mechanical engineering or equivalent: essential.
• Proven experience with conveyors, large gearboxes and motors.
• Experience working at heights: desirable.
• Experience in heavy environments such as steel and quarry; take people on from Tata steel a lot.
• Capable of using CMMS using tablets.
