Up to £23 per hour (depending on experience)

Hours:

50 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 6:00–7:00 AM starts

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Mechanic to join their established operation in Bristol. This is a hybrid role, combining workshop-based duties with mobile work across local sites. The position offers consistent hours, competitive pay, and long-term stability.

The Role:

* Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles and specialist machinery, including road sweepers

* Carry out servicing and preventative maintenance

* Identify and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults

* Use diagnostic equipment to fault-find and assess performance

* Complete service reports and job documentation accurately

* Work in line with health and safety requirements

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Mechanic is essential

* Experience working on road sweepers is highly desirable

* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

* Confident using diagnostic tools and fault-finding equipment

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Relevant mechanical qualifications advantageous but not essential
