Gas Heating & Plumbing Engineer

We are seeking a full qualified Gas Engineer to cover Bristol, Bath and sometimes Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis with a salary of 38000 - 40000 and comes with a van, laptop, phone and test equipment.

The company is a property maintenance company that provides a wide range of services to customers all over the UK, including gas and electrical safety inspections, legionella testing, CO and smoke alarm repairs and installations. The head office is based in rural Suffolk.

Primary function is to complete gas‑safety checks and remedial work. You may also be required to install boilers, complete combi swaps or support other engineers on occasion. You must diagnose faults and carry out installations to a high standard.

• Experience in domestic heating and plumbing systems is a must, including up‑to‑date Water Regs (Part L) vented and unvented qualifications.
• Familiarity with controls and wiring plans and an electrical qualification (Part P).
• ACS certificates required for appliances, cookers and ranges (CKR1), boilers and water heaters (CENWAT), fires (HTR1); preferably space heaters and warm air (DAH1).
• Asbestos and legionella awareness training is desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Computer literate.
• A full clean driving licence.

This is a full‑time permanent role offering a starting salary of 38000 - 40000. You must be flexible to cover varying appointment schedules up to 40 hours a week, normally between 08:30 and 17:30.
