Industrial Electrician (Water Industry Experience) – Avonmouth, Bristol
Hours:
45 hours per week
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician with a proven background in the water industry to join a flagship project for Wessex Water in Avonmouth.
Key Responsibilities- Installation of electrical cable laddering and containment systems, including ladder rack, tray, trunking and conduit
- MCC (Motor Control Centre) works, including positioning, fixing, glanding and termination
- Cable pulling, dressing and securing to specification and drawings
- Work from electrical drawings, site specifications, and WIMES standards
- Support site teams on installation, upgrades, and maintenance works
- Ensure safe working practices and compliance with water industry standards
- Experience working on water industry projects (clean or wastewater)
- ECS Gold Card
- WIMES knowledge and ability to work from detailed electrical drawings
- Flexibility to travel – role involves working away with accommodation covered
- Positive attitude, good communication skills, and ability to work within site teams
