Mobile Patrol Officer
Hours: 48 hours per week
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Location: Bristol
Grade: Site Based

As a Mobile Security Officer, you will provide mobile security services and world‑class client service excellence across a portfolio of client sites within a designated geographical area. You will perform various tasks such as lock/unlock services, mobile security, alarm responses, vacant property inspections, patrols, and other mobile services as directed by the Deputy Branch Manager. Your role is to protect clients’ people, property, and assets while consistently upholding Securitas core values:

- Deliver mobile security services, including locks/unlocks, internal/external patrols, alarm responses, vacant property checks, and escort duties.
- Maintain a professional, polite, and helpful attitude towards clients, their staff, and colleagues.
- Follow instructions from Team Leaders and work collaboratively with the team.
- Wear full uniform at all times, clearly displaying your SIA licence and Company .
- Complete vehicle checks and handovers each shift, ensuring the safety of the vehicle and equipment.
- Drive safely, following the Highway Code and representing the company professionally.
- Follow correct key management procedures.
- Adhere to assignment instructions and review site logs before attending each location.
- Escalate incidents, break‑ins, health and safety issues, and RTAs according to process.
- Complete Security/SLAM compliance, ensuring accurate reporting and data capture.
- Comply with SOP
13, SOP
18, the driver’s handbook, and the driver code of conduct. - Conduct patrols and escorts, ensuring DGs and assets are safe before leaving any site.
- Protect company property, ensuring devices (e.g., PDAs, dashcams) are secure and operational.

- 5‑year checkable employment history, the right to work in the UK.
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
- Valid SIA Licence and First Aid at Work certificate.
- Positive, can‑do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good IT skills and strong communication abilities (written and spoken English).
- Flexibility to work 12‑hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential).
- Minimum one year of mobile security experience (preferred but not essential).
