This privately owned UKAS asbestos consultancy is seeking a switched-on Asbestos Analyst based in the South West region. Applicants will need extensive experience in the industry and hold the BOHS P403 and P404. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running with experience carrying out background clearances, analysing samples and performing 4 stage clearances. Experience /

Qualifications:

• Qualified with both BOHS P403 & P404 or RSPH equivalent
• Experience working for a UKAS accredited company
• Sound knowledge of HSG 248 and UKAS guidelines
• Strong client facing skills
• Meeting targets and deadlines
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Meticulous and organised

The Role:

• Conduct 4 stage clearances
• Travelling to a mixed portfolio of client sites such as commercial, domestic and industrial
• Providing technical advice to clients
• Completing detailed technical reports
• Undertaking personal, leak, background, smoke and re-occupation air testing
• Precisely storing samples
• Wearing PPE
