, we are recruiting a tenacious and passionate Senior Ecologist to join our growing UK ecology team.

You can expect to get involved with the delivery of field surveys, assessments, tenders, report writing and project management on various nationwide and local projects. You can also expect to oversee aspects of site work and undertake practical elements of habitat management or creation under supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee medium/large projects and tenders from commencement to completion and close‑out.
  • Promote RSK in a positive light to clients and competitors.
  • Manage medium‑sized projects, including finance, resource allocation, sub‑contractor management, risk and quality assurance, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication, and seek and respond to client feedback.
  • Complete fieldwork including out‑of‑hours surveys, traveling as required Ом(?) and working away from home.
  • Assist with the delivery of survey and research reports, including document reviews, statistical analyses, licence applications, reporting, etc.
Person Specification

You will have the ability to Flaming? (the list) to work independently and as part of a team, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage a variety of workloads. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports, are essential for communicating findings and recommendations. Leadership skills and the ability to work both as part of a team and individually on certain projects are also required.

Qualifications

& Experience
  • Degree or relevant qualification in Ecology or related subject.
  • 5 years of specific relevant experience within a similar role.
  • Species‑specific personal licences are desirable.
  • Associate membership with CIEEM.
  • Commitment to adhere to CIEEMs Code of Professional Conduct.
