What you’ll do- Work alongside subject experts in your base team.
- Create a personalised development plan aligned with your professional journey.
- Collect evidence of your development to progress toward professional memberships and chartership.
- Attend your base office at least 2 days per week and visit other sites as required.
- After your first year, take on an incident role and engage in environmental and flood incident responses.
- Perform duties that enhance your technical skills.
- Take and reflect on opportunities to develop personal and leadership skills.
- Actively participate in the Graduate Trainee community.
- Collaborate with other teams to broaden understanding of the Agency’s remit.
Criterion 1 – You are a UK, Commonwealth or EEA national with the right to work in the UK.
Criterion 2 – Must have graduated with an environment or science honours‑based degree, master’s or PhD from June 2021 to September 2026 or have current working knowledge of the subject.
Criterion 3 – Some roles require a driving licence; check individual role profiles.
