We have a fantastic opportunity for a Referencing Specialist to join our team at Bristol Airport! Our Vetting & Referencing Team takes responsibility for the management of the Airside Pass process for our Pilot, Cabin Crew and Ground Operations colleagues at our Airports and works with our Central Head Office Team. In this role, you’ll play an essential part in supporting our colleagues to obtain their Airside Pass whilst adhering to all legal, industry and company vetting and compliance requirements.

What will you do in the role?
  • You’ll assist in the Recruitment Team at Assessment Days and ensure referencing information and requirements are presented and shared with candidates.
  • You’ll support new colleagues with all referencing requirements and processes.
  • You’ll act as a subject matter expert in referencing and the airport pass application process for your Airport Base.
  • You’ll work to quality standards for each Airside Pass application and identify any areas of risk.
  • You’ll maintain a strong and positive working relationships with the Airport .
  • You’ll work closely with the Referencing Specialists in our Head Office and the Operational teams at your Airport Base to support our overall service delivery.
What you’ll have:

Our Referencing Specialist will have a sound working knowledge and understanding of the Department for Transport Airside Pass Scheme guidance and base specific Airside Pass issues regulations. You’ll also:

  • Have high attention to detail, with the ability to identify errors or areas of inconsistency/ risk.
  • Have an organised approach, with the ability to work to tight time frames and manage multiple projects/timescales.
  • Possess strong written and verbal skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • This role would suit applicants from HR, Recruitment, Compliance or Referencing backgrounds. Experience with in Aviation would be beneficial.

Please note that this role will be offered as a salaried Fixed-Term Contract for 6 months.

The successful candidate must have the ability to obtain a Counter Terrorist Check (CTC).
