Reporting to the UK Head of Sales, the Key Account Manager for the Gym & Independent channel will be the driving force behind distributor relationships and speciality independent retail & gym growth across the UK.
You will own and execute the channel strategy for independent gyms, specialist sports nutrition stores, and regional distribution partners. With full accountability for sales performance, promotional planning, and distribution expansion, you will be responsible for accelerating growth while maintaining strong operational excellence.
This is a highly entrepreneurial role with autonomy to build meaningful partnerships, activate the brand in the field, and drive sustained revenue growth. Collaborating closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance, you will play a critical role in scaling EHPlabs’ presence within the UK’s fastest-growing sports nutrition channel.
Responsibilities- Meet and exceed revenue, profit, and distribution targets aligned with UK growth strategy
- Manage and grow relationships with existing distribution partners, acting as primary point of contact and commercial lead
- Expand distribution within specialist sports nutrition retailers and independent gym networks, driving pull-through sales via distributor partners
- Build, own, and execute the channel promotional calendar in alignment with country strategy
- Develop and maintain a structured contact plan, recording customer interactions, competitor activity, and new business wins
- Be field-based a minimum of three days per week, travelling across the UK to visit key channel accounts and prospective customers
- Partner closely with Marketing to develop and execute in-store activations, sampling programs, and brand-building initiatives
- Host regular sampling events within gyms and specialist stores to drive trial and awareness
- Own internal order processing for your customer base and ensure seamless operational execution
- Provide accurate forecasting inputs and support monthly S&OP processes with strong emphasis on demand planning precision
- Track and report on sales performance, distribution gains, promotional ROI, and market opportunities or threats
- Represent EHPlabs at trade shows, expos, competitions, and industry events both domestically and internationally
- You are a driven and charismatic commercial professional who thrives in high-performance environments.
- You bring experience in account management, field sales, or distribution within FMCG, sports nutrition, or related categories
- You are passionate about building long-term customer relationships and growing accounts strategically
- You have a commercial mindset, motivated by targets, and confident owning a channel end-to-end
- You demonstrate strong organisational and planning skills
- You are comfortable working independently while collaborating cross-functionally
- You have proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- You bring solutions and are and capable of resolving customer challenges professionally
- Industry knowledge in sports nutrition or fitness is advantageous but not essential
