The RoleManage day‑to‑day business development activity, strengthen existing customer relationships and generate new opportunities across a variety of industries.
Working with a supportive regional manager and collaborating with internal sales, technical and procurement teams deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs while helping Thorite expand its market presence.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop accounts across your region to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Identify new business opportunities in pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics and compressed air systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers at all levels including purchasing and engineering teams.
- Prepare and deliver compelling quotations, proposals and presentations.
- Take ownership of your sales pipeline ensuring timely follow‑up and conversion.
- Collaborate effectively with internal colleagues to deliver exceptional service and technical support.
- Degree‑educated (Engineering, Technical or Business disciplines preferred).
- Some prior experience in sales or a commercial role looking for the next step.
- Confident professional and skilled at building relationships.
- Driven, organised and results‑oriented.
- Genuine interest in engineering and technical solutions.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Full UK driving licence essential.
