Area Sales Manager – Automotive Equipment & Consumables (South West Territory)

Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Bournemouth, Exeter

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 Basic Salary, OTE £10k – £20k + Vehicle + Benefits

You’ll be responsible for growing and developing the customer base in the South West England automotive industry.

Features: 50% focus on automotive repair & bodyshops (end‑user) and 50% on the wider motor industry via distribution customers like Motor Factors.

The role blends new business acquisition with account management.

Typical account values range from £5k–£20k.

• Grow and develop the customer base.
• Manage a sales territory.
• Engage with automotive repair shops, bodyshops, motor factors, and other motor industry customers.
• Balance new business development with existing account management.

• Proven B2B sales experience.
• Confidence and enthusiasm in a sales environment with a new‑business focus.
• Ability to build credibility and manage a territory.
• Personable and memorable style.
• Full driver’s licence.
• Right to work in the UK indefinitely (no sponsorship).
• Experience with welding equipment and consumables preferred.
