Role Purpose
The Brand Account Manager is responsible for managing, retaining and growing a portfolio of Salon Partners, delivering a full service proposition through field visits, telephone and email contact. The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, driving retention and sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of Salon Partners as the main point of contact, building strong relationships and delivering retention and growth plans.
- Run regular customer reviews to understand needs, spot opportunities and support ongoing development.
- Win new Salon Partners: prospect, agree terms and onboard accounts to the full service proposition.
- Provide consultative support using strong product, brand and market knowledge.
- Coordinate customer education and in-salon support (including retail education, merchandising advice and promotional execution) with internal teams.
- Communicate launches and promotions to drive engagement and sales.
- Keep CRM up to date, manage pipeline and forecasting and report on activity and performance.
- Contribute to monthly sales meetings and wider business projects as needed.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in sales and/or account management.
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple customer accounts, building relationships and delivering against revenue/profit targets.
- Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Highly organized, proactive and resilient, with effective time management in a field-based role.
- Comfortable using CRM systems for pipeline management and forecasting.
- Passion for the hair and salon industry is essential; industry experience is desirable.
