Overview
Driver with Retail Sales Advisor duties for Brewers Decorator Centre in Bristol. 40 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota. Salary £26,945 per annum plus pension and company benefits. The role is to provide exceptional service to our customers in store and to keep the branch and its delivery service running smoothly.
Conveniently located on St Johns Lane in Bedminster, our Bristol Decorator Centre is one of two Brewers branches in the area and has been supplying the local community with decorating supplies for over 20 years.
In-store we carry a vast range of trade and designer paints, wallpaper pattern books and all the tools and accessories our customers need to complete their decorating projects. Our friendly and knowledgeable team have been sharing their expert advice and making recommendations to both trade and retail customers for many years.
Responsibilities- Make contactless deliveries to customers in and around the Bristol area driving our Company Transit van.
- Provide exceptional service to customers in branch, to deliver upon our reputation for quality Brewers service.
- Use product knowledge to provide recommendations and help customers find the best product for their needs.
- Mix paint for customers, process specialist orders, and request special stock within the Branch network.
- Develop sales of the Company product range including wallpaper, paint and fabric.
- Build relationships with customers to fully identify their needs and provide a comprehensive service.
- Promote seasonal and special items, including merchandising goods in-store to increase visibility and sales.
- Assist with stock maintenance in the branch and unload deliveries to distribute stock throughout the store.
- Familiar with Bristol and the surrounding area.
- Full clean manual driving licence.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills to understand and translate customer requirements into product recommendations.
- Approachable, with an open and friendly personality.
- Happy to help both customers and colleagues; enjoys teamwork but can work independently.
- Keen to learn, develop skills, and progress within our industry.
- Previous retail experience or product knowledge is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be given to the right candidate.
