** As a Catering Assistant at Saltford School , you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. ** As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for:
*** Assisting in food preparation and ensuring presentation standards are met.
* Providing polite, friendly, and personal service to all students and staff.
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene, health, and safety within the kitchen and service areas.
* Supporting the catering team by following instructions and contributing positively to daily operations.
* Handling and securing cash accurately (if applicable) and promoting sales activities within the unit.
* Ensuring equipment is clean and functional while adhering to cleaning schedules and health regulations.
** What You’ll Bring to Futura
**** We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant who:
*** Holds a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Essential).
* Has previous catering experience, ideally within a school environment (Desirable).
* Demonstrates a positive and reliable attitude with good spoken communication skills.
* Is able to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions effectively.
* Shows flexibility, energy, and enthusiasm for providing excellent service.
* Demonstrates a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all members of our school community.
