About the Role

We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled individual to support the quality, safety, and compliance of our renewable energy installations. This hybrid role combines office‑based quality assurance with hands‑on site support, ensuring our ASHP, Solar PV, and electrical installations meet the standards required by MCS, NICEIC, and Liv Green’s internal processes. You’ll work closely with installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain certification standards, drive continuous improvement, and support safe, high‑quality delivery across all projects.

Key Responsibilities Quality & Certification Support
  • Support the maintenance of certification processes (MCS, NICEIC, internal QA).
  • Maintain quality assurance systems, documentation, and reporting.
  • Provide supportive technical guidance with a positive mindset to ensure work meets regulatory and industry standards.
  • Assist in supply chain management including auditing of subcontractors.
  • Attend supplier, client, and internal meetings as required, providing technical input where needed.
  • Suggest continuous improvement measures including process automation and better methodologies.
  • Attend team meetings and events and share best practices and experiences.
  • Weekly reporting to management with relevant information completed as requested.
  • Ensure full compliance with Liv Green processes and proactively suggest improvements.
  • Promote the profile of Liv Green and maintain a presentable image by adherence to the Liv Green dress code.
Site Technical Support
  • Carry out on-site inspections to review installation quality and working practices.
  • Identify areas for improvement/potential risks and work collaboratively to implement corrective actions and enhance safety and quality.
  • Assist with installations, repairs, remediation, and technical troubleshooting as required.
  • Work with site teams to embed best practices and drive continuous improvement in operational quality and compliance.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in ASHP, Solar PV and Electrical Technologies in a project-based environment.
  • NVQ qualifications in at least one of the above technologies.
  • Strong understanding of NICEIC/MCS requirements, and supporting the organisation’s responsibilities under NICEIC and MCS, including contributing to audit preparation and maintaining certification standards.
  • Familiarity with QA processes, certification requirements, and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with office and site teams in a busy and fast‑paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and perform well under pressure.
  • Strong relationship‑building and customer service skills.
  • Able to work well within a team without causing conflict regardless of information being shared.
  • Ability to travel to sites across the UK.
