Role – Arboricultural Consultant / Tree Surveyor

You will be part of a supportive consultancy team working on a wide range of projects, including:

  • Tree surveys for development, planning and risk management
  • Producing high‑quality surveys and reports for a variety of clients
  • Advising clients on tree health, safety and management
  • Working alongside planners, architects, engineers and ecologists
  • Contributing to the delivery of innovative and sustainable tree management solutions
What Our Client is Looking For
  • A qualification in arboriculture, forestry or a related discipline (Level 3 minimum; Level 4/5 or degree desirable)
  • Tree surveying skills (experience with BS5837 surveys an advantage)
  • Professional Tree Inspection – LANTRA
  • Knowledge of tree risk assessment (VALID, QTRA, TRAQ or similar beneficial)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive, professional approach, with enthusiasm for continued learning
  • A full UK driving licence
  • For experienced consultants: a track record of delivering consultancy projects, client management and mentoring skills will be valued
  • For graduates/early‑career candidates: full training, mentoring and CPD will be provided to support your development
