You will be working as part of a friendly, welcoming and expert multidisciplinary Theatre Team supported by our experienced Theatre Manager. There is no night working, no Sunday’s, no bank holidays and there is no on-call! You can have more time to do the things you love doing.
Shifts cover Monday to Saturday, working over 4 days and are scheduled as follows:
- 3 × 07:00 – 17:00
- 1 × 07:00 – 16:30
- To participate in and maintain the highest standard of care and safety for patients, visitors and staff in the Operating Theatre Suite and PACU, in accordance with the Practice Plus Group philosophy and objectives, policies and legal requirements.
- To be involved in the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care and work within a flexible team structure involving a multi‑disciplinary team.
- You will be a part‑1 registered NMC Nurse with Anaesthetic qualification, or a HCPC registered Operating Department Practitioner.
- Competent in all aspects of anaesthetic technique and procedures.
- A skilled member of the theatre team, responsible for the assessment of care given to patients within the operating theatre and other areas where an anaesthetic service is required.
- Maintain accurate clinical observation of the patient’s condition and alert medical staff when required.
- Take responsibility in ensuring the safe, effective and efficient management of allocated resources within anaesthetics.
- Effectively communicate accurately recorded data within the Theatre/Anaesthetic multidisciplinary team, updating and revising care as appropriate.
- Salary £44,373.07 p.a.
