Practice Nurse – Orchard Medical Centre

Job summary

The Orchard Medical Centre is looking to recruit a part time, enthusiastic and experienced Practice Nurse to join our existing friendly nursing team within a dynamic and progressive primary care setting. We are an established teaching practice who is keen to support the development of all members of the team. The position is for 25 hours Days of work to ideally include a Monday and Thursday but can be negotiated.

The role would suit an experienced Practice nurse looking for a new challenge.

Main duties of the job

This role involves actively managing patients on chronic disease registers. The ideal candidate will have an interest in hypertension, but work can include Asthma, COPD and Diabetes as well. You will be working as a team of 3 practice nurses with support from the wider nursing team. We are a high achiever with QOF, therefore an understanding of QOF is necessary.
