This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident nurse who enjoys branch life and working with autonomy, while still benefiting from the support of a larger hospital network.
Role DetailsYou will thrive in a branch setting as a sole nurse, playing a key role in the smooth running of the practice. This is a varied and hands‑on role where your skills will be fully utilised.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Running and developing nurse clinics
- Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting surgical procedures
- Supporting daily consults and theatre work
- Assisting in the day‑to‑day operations of the surgery
- Delivering excellent inpatient and preventative care
- Building strong relationships with clients and their pets
You will work three days per week those seeking a full‑time position, there is the option to work one additional day per week at our Rosemary Lodge hospital. Weekend shifts are based at Rosemary Lodge on a 1 in 8 rota.
About the PracticeLocated in the heart of Keynsham, the practice offers a vibrant town setting with shops within walking distance and excellent rail links to both Bristol and Bath.
Park Road Surgery is a busy first‑opinion branch where consultations and surgeries take place daily. The practice is well equipped with:
- Fully equipped operating theatre
- Digital X‑ray facilities
- Dedicated in‑house laboratory
You will work alongside two experienced vets, a Veterinary Care Assistant and a dedicated receptionist, forming a close‑knit and supportive team. In addition, you will benefit from the backing of our 24‑hour first‑opinion and referral hospital at Rosemary Lodge in Bath, ensuring clinical support is always available when needed.

You will:
- Be a qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Be confident in anaesthesia and general nursing duties
- Enjoy building client relationships
