New position
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Bank School Nurse to provide flexible, on‑demand nursing support within the School Health Centre. This casual role supports daytime clinical cover, short‑term absences, illness outbreaks and participation in the on‑call rota, delivering high‑quality nursing care to pupils in a busy school environment.
Responsibilities include first aid, illness and injury management, medication administration, accurate record‑keeping and effective communication with pupils, staff and parents.
Requirements: NMC‑registered nurse (child or adult); strong clinical judgement; experience working autonomously; confidence in triage, urgent care and safeguarding.
This role requires flexibility, reliability and availability at short notice, including evenings and weekends for on‑call duties.
