Volunteer & Training Coordinator
Part‑time, 18.75 hours, Salary £28,000.00 per annum (£14,189.19 pro rata)
Bristol Beacon is the South WestS largest concert hall, promoting musical excellence, creative learning, and community engagement. Our newly refurbished concert halls and Music Education Centre are central to our mission of uniting people through the joy of live music.
OverviewWe are looking for a warm, organized and community‑minded coordinator to lead our volunteer and trainee programmes, supporting an exciting new 2.5‑year creative arts initiative designed to reduce loneliness and build connected, thriving communities across the West of England.
Responsibilities- Recruit, induct and support volunteers and trainees, helping shape meaningful roles within a wide range of creative activities.
- Work closely with the Community, People, Marketing and Production teams to schedule training, coordinate placements and ensure smooth‑running sessions.
- Serve as a friendly, supportive presence for everyone involved, fostering a welcoming environment for all volunteers and trainees.
We particularly encourage and support applications from disabled and ethnically diverse backgrounds as these groups are currently underrepresented within the arts and culture sectors.
