Social Strategist – People Scout EMEA
Role
As Social Strategist, you'll define and deliver the social strategies for the Armed Forces – whether in combination, or separately for the Royal Navy, British Army or Royal Air Force. You'll immerse yourself in the world of the Armed Forces and the target audience, so that we can deliver on effective, innovative, award-winning work. Across organic and paid social activity, you'll bring to life the AFRS brand story to drive its prominence as a career option.
Your decision making will be backed up by data, research and performance monitoring.
Alongside the Head of Strategy and the Strategy Director, you'll build strong relationships with all consortium partner agencies. You'll inspire confidence and reassurance over our chosen strategic approach. Within TMP 268, you'll work closely with account and creative teams.
Qualifications
You have a strong understanding of social strategy, media and the role of channel, as well as the consumption habits of 16–24-year-olds. This has been built through creating social strategies with demonstratable success against clear objectives and KPIs. You've managed social accounts that have created impactful, effective work. A creative and data‑led thinker, you are comfortable working across a plethora of social channels to deliver successful results.
When called for, you've created tactical plans to focus on an area of underperformance.
An experienced networker, you know how to build trust within teams and sell multi‑channel marketing solutions. This is coupled with excellent communication, organisation and planning skills.
This is an entrepreneurial environment where we're all pulling together to secure a shared goal, so we'd like someone excited by that prospect. A wider understanding of recruitment and employer brand solutions would be great to see. As would a degree or equivalent qualification.
