CNC Turning Machinist

PAY: £16.00 per hour (overtime currently available time plus 50%)

WORKING HOURS:

39 hours per week flexitime working between 6.30am to 4.00pm

ESS Employment are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turning Machinist with programming skills for an established engineering company in the Bristol area. The vacancy will be permanent after a successful trial period.

• Programming, Setting and operating CNC turning machinery
• Fanuc or XYZ Proturn control systems
• Ensure complex and intricate components meet the required specifications
• Maintain a clean and tidy workshop environment
• Adhere to strict health and safety procedures
• Working with work in ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as engineering plastics.

• Preferably time served
• Experience of Programming CNC turning machinery within a CNC environment.
• Experience of working with Fanuc or XYZ Proturn controls.
• Duties will include changing inserts, programming and use of measuring equipment.
