Use techniques like dye penetrant, magnetic particle, ultrasonic, radiographic, or eddy current testing to check for defects. Inspect Components:
Examine parts for cracks, flaws, or inconsistencies that could affect performance or safety. Operate Equipment:
Set up, calibrate, and maintain NDT equipment and tools. Analyze Results:
Interpret test data and reports to determine if parts meet specifications. Record Keeping:
Document inspection results accurately for quality control and compliance. Work Safely:
Follow health and safety procedures strictly since some tests involve hazardous materials or environments. Collaborate:
Work with production teams, engineers, and quality assurance to ensure defects are addressed. Ensure all activities are exercised in accordance with company policy and procedure (including standard operating, health and safety, and HR procedures). Undertake work ethically, considering needs and concerns of others (especially equality and diversity), effective use of resources, and sustainability. Lead by example with a proactive, ethical, can-do approach aligned with company mission and values.

Ability to check components for defects Ability to read technical drawings Good understanding of quality control procedures Effective communication at all levels In-depth knowledge of dye penetrant and magnetic flaw detection Desirable:
Engineering / manufacturing experience Knowledge of NDT processes Knowledge of manufacturing techniques Ability to understand engineering drawings SALARY & BENEFITS £14 - £15ph (Rising to £18 per hour after training) Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4.15pm Overtime available 6am - 10pm Monday to Friday Overtime weekend x1.5 rates
