Job Title:

CNC Programmer - Milling (Hurco / Winmax)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE + includes Late Shift Allowance)

Location:

Bristol

Shifts:

Alternate Weeks - early & late shifts, with every other Friday off

• Early Shift: Mon-Thurs 06:00-15:00, Fri 06:00-17:30
• Late Shift: Mon-Thurs 13:30-22:45, Friday OFF

We are currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Progammer - Mills to join a leading precision engineering company based in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Machinist with Hurco Milling experience and strong knowledge of Winmax Conversational Programming.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑spec environment, manufacturing precision components for high regulated industries.

• CNC Programming, setting and operating 3 & 5 axis Hurco Mills.
• Conversational Programming using Winmax
• Machining aluminium and plastic components to tight aerospace tolerances
• Managing tooling, machine set‑ups, and process improvements
• Interpreting and working from complex engineering drawings

• Proven experience programming and operating 3 & 5 axis Hurco CNC Milling Machines
• Strong background in machining aluminium and plastic materials
• Confident using Winmax software for programming using DXF
• Excellent understanding of technical drawings and quality standards
