Manufacturing Services Technician – Mechanical (Machine Tool Maintenance – Mechanical)
Working Pattern:
Full Time – Shift (3 Shift Pattern)
Working location: Bristol (non-hybrid role)

The Manufacturing Services Technician – Mechanical is responsible for performing Mechanical fault-finding, repairs and maintenance on a variety of production assets and all associated ancillary equipment. There is a breadth of assets including machine tools and chemical process lines. You will work alongside other skilled tradesmen to provide support to the Manufacturing Services Leader and Manufacturing Services Engineers to ensure the organisation’s objectives and goals are delivered.
Shift schedule: 2 weeks dayshift approx , 2 weeks night shift approx , 2 weeks afternoon shift approx . Averaging 37.5 hours per week. Local agreements apply and can be discussed.

Qualifications:
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent in relevant Mechanical / Maintenance apprenticeship
- Experience working on Machine tools – e.g. Okuma, Mazak, DANOBAT Newall, DMG
- Experience fault finding and working on safety critical equipment such as machine tools, chemical process lines or similar
- Able to work to engineering drawings, with a good understanding of Mechanical Principles, Installation and Maintenance Operations
- Experience or qualified to work on steam systems is desirable
