Pertemps Bristol is recruiting for a Fabricator / Welder. This is a hands-on role involving the fabrication of steel components for security products including gates and barriers, based in Nailsea, BS49.

• £15-£17 per hour, DOE
• Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (37.5 hours/week)
• Immediate start
• Location:
  
  Nailsea, BS48
• Contract duration: 2-3 weeks

• Full production of metal fabrication – measuring, cutting, folding, welding, fitting, etc.
• General assembly work
• Fabrication of steel sheet and sections
• Metalwork, including cutting and folding metal to create components
• Heavy lifting of pieces for assembly
• Using initiative to complete off-spec jobs, e.g., fixing damaged metal work
• Coordinate with other fabricators/staff to ensure efficient production
• Use of handheld and powered tools and equipment
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Essential: MIG welding experience
• Strong sheet metal fabrication skills
• Ability to use initiative to complete off-spec jobs
• Accurate measurement skills
• Attention to detail and good hand/eye coordination
• Reliability, good communication, and teamwork skills
• Comfortable with heavy lifting
• Driving license (desirable)
