Senior Surveyor​/Associate - Property Management

Beach Baker has been exclusively instructed on a confidential senior appointment with a highly respected property consultancy operating across the South West and wider UK.

This is a client‑facing, senior-level role with responsibility for the proactive management of a varied commercial investment portfolio, including office, industrial and retail assets. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on property management, strong client interaction and delivering a high‑quality service.

• Managing a portfolio of commercial investment properties across the South West and UK
• Acting as the main point of contact for key clients
• Carrying out regular property inspections and overseeing planned/reactive maintenance
• Preparing, managing and reconciling service charge budgets
• Ensuring statutory compliance and fulfilment of landlord obligations
• Tenant liaison, including consents, rent collection and day‑to‑day management matters
• Overseeing buildings insurance and handling associated claims
• Supporting the administration of management companies
• Working collaboratively with FM, accounts and wider consultancy teams
• Mentoring junior colleagues as required
• Contributing to business development and continuous service improvement

• Strong experience in commercial property management
• Solid understanding of service charge management, compliance and landlord obligations
• Confident, professional and commercially aware
• Excellent organisational and client‑handling skills
• Comfortable managing a busy and varied workload
• RICS qualified or working towards qualification (preferred)
• Full UK driving licence
