Location: Bristol, Bs1
Job Type: Contract
Salary: £25.00 - £27.00 P/hr DOE

Madigan Gill are looking for a Logistics Manager with experience of Construction logistics for a large project in Bristol, starting ASAP for 12 months.

• Develop and implement the Construction Logistics Plan (CLP).
• Coordinate all site deliveries, storage, and distribution of materials.
• Manage site access, traffic management, and vehicle movements.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers.
• Oversee crane operations and lifting plans (where applicable).
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and site regulations.
• Monitor logistics performance, budgets, and reporting.
• Manage waste management strategy and sustainability initiatives.
• Resolve logistical issues and mitigate risks proactively.

• Proven experience as a Construction Logistics Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction site operations and sequencing.
• Experience working on large‑scale / high‑rise / infrastructure projects.
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Good understanding of health & safety legislation (e.g., CDM Regulations in the UK).
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.

• Degree or qualification in Construction Management, Logistics, or related field.
• Experience with digital logistics systems or BIM coordination.
• Knowledge of sustainable construction practices.
