We are a market‑leading hire company looking for an experienced Service Manager with a background in plant, hire or similar equipment to manage the maintenance of assets used in major projects across the UK.

• Lead and guide a team of service engineers, including two direct‑report supervisors.
• Ensure all equipment servicing is completed on time and to quality standards.
• Liaise with major clients nationwide to maintain high service quality.
• Schedule engineering resources efficiently.
• Assess and improve current maintenance processes.

• Proven experience as a Service Manager, Hire Manager, Rental Manager, Plant Manager, or similar role.
• Background in plant and hire equipment or similar machinery.
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and client‑facing abilities.
