£90,000 – £95,000 + £8,400 Car Allowance + 12.5% Bonus (up to 25%) + Package

A leading residential developer and main contractor is looking to appoint a Contracts Manager to oversee multiple high-value residential schemes in the Bristol region.

This is a senior leadership role within a stable, well-funded business delivering large-scale new build apartment projects. Schemes are substantial, complex and professionally run – the type of projects that enhance a CV, not just fill it.

You will oversee at least two live residential projects, leading Project Managers and site teams, ensuring programmes are met, margins are protected and standards remain high. The focus is delivery, leadership and commercial control. Technical expertise is important, but this appointment is more about the calibre of individual – someone who can drive performance, manage people properly and represent the business with credibility.

The Role

* Oversee multiple residential new build projects from pre-construction through to handover

* Lead and mentor Project Managers and senior site teams

* Maintain programme, quality and commercial performance

* Work closely with commercial and technical departments

* Report to senior leadership with clear, structured updates

The Person

* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or similar within residential construction

* Background with a residential developer or main contractor

* Strong leadership and people management skills

* Commercially aware with the ability to protect margin and manage risk

* Confident dealing with senior stakeholders internally and externally

* RC frame apartment experience is advantageous but not essential. High-rise residential or large-scale housing schemes would also be considered.

The Package

* Basic salary up to £95,000

 * £8,400 car allowance

* 12.5% bonus (with the potential to reach 25% for exceptional performance)
