Loom Talent Limited are working with a leading Global Logistics provider, who are looking to add a talented and proactive Transport Shift Manager to their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional who is passionate about logistics and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• People-Centric Leadership:
  Lead and inspire a dedicated team of circa x30 colleagues to reach their full potential through direct managerial reports, with a focus on the well-being and development of staff and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Health & Safety:
  Uphold rigorous health and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness throughout the Transport distribution arm of the business, aiming at accident reduction through continued training and assessment.
• Performance Metrics:
  Evolve the organisational approach to KPIs, ensuring existing site standardisation. Manage the daily activity of the company s fleet policy and associated transport staff in line with legal requirements, company policy and procedures, quality standards and within budget, while ensuring an effective service to the customer.
• Performance Management:
  Experience managing under/over performance, including probation reviews, return to works, PDPs, Annual Reviews and Disciplinary actions.
• TMS Expertise:
  Utilise experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Business Systems to drive operational efficiency.
• Customer & Stakeholder
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the seamless flow of goods from the warehouse to the end customer.

The successful candidate for the Transport Shift Manager opportunity will have the following skills and experience:

• Have a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background – Essential.
• Hold a Transport Management CPC – Advantageous.
• Have experience working within a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background – Essential.
• Have a minimum of 5+ years' experience at a Transport Shift Manager level – Essential.
• Have managed teams beyond x30+ employees / drivers through direct managerial reports – Essential.
• Exceptional people management and leadership skills – Essential.
• An understanding of Lean Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement Methodology – Advantageous.
• A working knowledge of TMS systems – Essential.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities – Essential.
• Commutable to Bristol 5 days per week – Essential.

Salary - £36,000 to £38,000 (DOE)
