Job IntroductionWe are looking for a passionate and experienced Safeguarding Lead to assist the Deputy Operations Manager in leading, developing, and coordinating the Children and Adult Safeguarding practices to ensure high‑quality, innovative, and cost‑effective care within an integrated service. The role supports Turning Point’s Substance Misuse strategy, reflects our person‑centred values, and aims to advance recovery outcomes for individuals and staff progress.
RoleResponsibilities
- Assist in delivering Turning Point’s Substance Misuse strategy within an integrated service.
- Lead, develop and coordinate Children and Adult Safeguarding practices alongside the Deputy Operations Manager.
- Ensure high quality, innovative, and cost‑effective care is delivered.
- Represent the Service at multi‑disciplinary meetings, advocating for vulnerable and at‑risk individuals.
- Experience of Safeguarding within a drug and alcohol setting.
- Strong ability to build relationships with colleagues, commissioners, and service users.
- Confidence in engaging, challenging, and influencing people.
- Experience representing the Service at multi‑disciplinary meetings with a focus on vulnerable and at‑risk populations.
