We are seeking Trustees to guide how we do our job of providing information, advice and support for children and young people with Special Educational Needs/Disabilities and their families in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

What difference will you make? Support from SEND And You can have a deep and lasting positive impact on the lives of children/young people with SEND, and their families. The challenges faced by our service users are increasing and changing, and it is imperative that we have a sound foundation in order to deliver our existing services and develop new ones.

We are seeking people who have worked with challenge and change, and have experience of setting and overseeing strategies and policies. This expertise might come from managing within an organisation, or from lived experience of SEND (either personally or as a supporter of someone with SEND). Previous experience as a Trustee is desirable but not essential. We provide induction, training and support so that our Trustees are confident across the whole of our work.

Our Trustees play a vital role in making sure that SEND And You achieves its core purpose. They oversee the overall management and administration of the Charity. Trustees also ensure that SEND And You has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision. Just as importantly, they support and challenge the executive team to enable SEND And You to grow and thrive and so achieve our mission.
