Overview
Business Manager (Depot Manager)
Salary: Competitive plus bonus, company car/cash allowance, private medical cover and pension
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Location: Bristol

- Manage the Commercial collection business including people, financial management, strategic planning, business development and resources
- Deliver effective and safe services to maximum operational efficiency, within budget and to Veolia requirements
- Develop and manage the site budget, ensuring proper allocation of resources and utilisation of efficient disposal and recycling solutions
- Lead and mentor a team of employees, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development
- Managing people & assets to deliver / exceed service expectations whilst delivering efficient & profitable solutions
- Continuously monitor and evaluate operational performance to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve business performance and ecological transformation
- Formulate effective pricing strategies and negotiate contracts with customers
Essential:
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Level 3 Leadership & Management or equivalent work experience
- Transport CPC
- Financial and budget management experience
- Strong understanding of waste management regulations, environmental sustainability and waste disposal procedures
