Repairs Engineer

Overview

ORONA's activities are focused on the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance, and modernization of lifts, escalators, moving ramps and walkways. Operating in 100 countries, we have 330,000 lifts worldwide using our technology. With 2 manufacturing plants Orona is Number 1 in Europe in terms of complete lift production capacity. We are looking for Repairs Engineers to join our team in Bristol and surrounding areas.

• Carrying out major repairs to lifts within allocated area.
• Plan jobs to ensure parts are available and deliver repairs safely, on time and within budget.

You will also be required to deliver accurate and timely paperwork supporting the Company s work procedures. In exceptional circumstances you will stand in as part of the local service team on-call rota.

If you have a comprehensive Lift engineering background, including an NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent we want to hear from you!

• NVQ 3 in Lift Engineering
• Experience of working with Lifts
• Strong customer skills
• A valid UK Driving License

• Lift Maintenance:
  Able to complete basic service and maintenance requirements for most types of lifts.
• Customer Focus - aims to build effective relationships with internal and external customers, gaining their trust and respect through meeting and exceeding their expectations.
• Health, Safety and Environment - Fully understands the risks and all HSE aspects of role and proactively implements laid down procedures under own initiative
