As a Cleaning Supervisor , you will lead and motivate a team of 12 cleaning operatives, ensuring that high standards of hygiene and presentation are consistently maintained.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives on responsibility, and values teamwork in creating a positive and professional environment.

What You’ll Do Supervise and motivate your cleaning team to deliver all contracted tasks on time and to the highest standards.

Oversee the cleanliness and hygiene of various areas, including kitchens, toilets, and communal spaces, ensuring full compliance with health and safety standards.

Manage stock control, including the ordering and inventory of cleaning materials, consumables, and equipment.

Identify and report any safety hazards, conducting regular inspections and safety walks to ensure a secure working environment.

Ensure compliance with COSHH regulations and all client policies relating to housekeeping, infection control, and site security.

Conduct and document all required training for cleaning operatives in line with operational, legal, and client requirements.

Ensure adherence to the company’s colour-coding policy across all cleaning activities.

Undertake all relevant training and wear company uniform and PPE as required at all times.

What You’ll Bring Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory role, with strong knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.

Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.

Excellent communication and customer service abilities, ensuring strong collaboration with clients and colleagues.

A proactive, positive approach with a focus on quality, safety, and teamwork.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
