Site Supervisor – Witherslack Group

Being a maintenance supervisor in our school means helping to create a great learning environment for our young people. You will manage a skilled team of maintenance workers, carry out repairs, keep school grounds neat and tidy, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations. You will also undertake safety inspections, handle any maintenance issues, liaise with the Regional Property Manager, and support the Head Teacher.
Salary£28,142 – £31,022 + excellent benefits
Responsibilities- Supervise a skilled team to carry out maintenance and general repairs.
- Keep school grounds neat and tidy.
- Ensure the school meets Health & Safety regulations and undertake safety inspections.
- Maintain up‑to‑date records of any maintenance issues.
- Liaise with the Regional Property Manager and support the Head Teacher.
- Experience managing a site.
- Maintenance skills – either professional or strong DIY background.
- Ability to support a team of maintenance workers and contractors.
- ‘Can do’ attitude – a team player who rolls up sleeves to help others.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
- Willingness to start the day early (8 am).
