Overview

We are looking for a caring and organised individual to join our friendly Facilities team as a Maintenance Person.

About the role

Friendly and approachable you’ll have previous experience working in a maintenance role with an understanding of building, fire, legionella, electrical testing and regulations. You understand the importance of maintaining high standards and working with health and safety compliance – you’ll ensure the hospice environment is maintained to a high standard and all areas of compliance are achieved.

About the person

You’ll be based at the hospice in Brentry (BS10) and support our portfolio of shops across Bristol and the surrounding areas. Nothing is too much trouble and you’re always happy to help the wider team. You’ll work in partnership with volunteers and other staff members to ensure routine and operational maintenance tasks are completed.

What we can offer you
  • Salary of £24,205 – £25,479 per annum (FTE) dependent on experience
  • Part time 30 hours per week worked over 4 days (Tuesday – Friday)
  • No unsociable shifts
