Hours:
37 hours per week, 5 days a week (Monday to Sunday), typically 07:00‑15:00 or 14:00‑21:00 – flexibility required.
One in four Sundays on a rota basis.
Join us as we reinvent Royal Mail for the future. As a Delivery Postie, you will travel across Bristol delivering letters, parcels and important documents, rain or shine. You'll be an ambassador of the service, meeting customers and keeping the delivery network running smoothly.
Qualifications- Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated
- Organised, punctual and dedicated to great customer service
- People‑person who can act as a friendly face in the community
- Comfortable walking long distances and working outside in all weather conditions
- Strong sense of community pride in the work done
- Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 (£/hr), paid monthly and adjusted to working hours
- Paid overtime – x1.25 for hours over 40 per week
- 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro‑rated for part‑time)
